''The justice will prevail and killers will be brought to justice regardless of the crocodile tear of ONLF''.

- I have read an article titled: "Seemaal Murders, an insult to Injury" which appeared on pro-ONLF website "Wardheer News". The author Mohamed F. Yabarag, a known diehard supporter of terrorist group ONLF, is trying to fuel tension between the Somaliland tribes in Gabiley and Awdal states.

Let us examine closely, why the author is fueling the tension in this area: Isaias Afewerki regime is training hundreds of ONLF guerilla in Asmara, Eretria, to battle Ethiopian military in Somali region of Ethiopia. Asmara administration provides weapon to the trainees, and sends to Ethiopia.

The question is how will the trainees reach the landlocked Ethiopia: Djibouti is hosting strong foreign forces making it difficult to smuggle through. The border between Ethiopia and Eritrea is very sensitive and under UN observation. This had made almost impossible for the ONLF to deliver the new trainee militant into Ethiopia, which undermines the objectives of the training.

In 2010, a boat loaded with an estimated 240-300 fresh fighters of ONLF from Asmara arrived in the ancient coastal town of Zeila. The freshmen were than smuggled across Somaliland by three ONLF secret lorries pretending to be carrying food products. The Somaliland Police intercepted the plan and clashed with the militant, arresting five of them alive and killing other hundred.

The police seized weapon, Eritrean money, communication equipment and training manuals that were in Somali and Amharic languages.

Somaliland Minister of Interior Affairs, during 2010, Dr. Mohamed Abdi Gaboose ensured that militant belong to Ogaden National Liberation Front known ONLF, who received their training in Eritrea and were on their way to the Somali region of Ethiopia to fight the Ethiopian Military.

Somaliland has since moved heavily armed battalions near the coastal town of Ziela and its border with Djibouti to avoid any similar smuggling of such terrorists. The Somaliland authorities are exchanging information with their Ethiopian and Djibouti counterparts, which made for ONLF difficult to reach landlocked Ethiopia.

Ethiopian authorities arrested many of these fugitives in their side of the border, and later the arrested terrorist militant confessed the same to both Somaliland and Ethiopia security – They are ONLF freshmen trained in Eritrea.

An eyewitness told Somalilandpress that the clashes began midday in the Mar-mar mountains in Awdal region close to the Ethiopian border after the militants were surrounded.

The USA and French forces stationed in Djibouti are cooperating with Somaliland authorities on any such smuggle of ONLF militant from Asmara, Eritrea into Somaliland seawater.

The Author is trying to create instability in western regions of Somaliland, Gabiley & AWDAL, which will enable ONLF terror group to establish save-transit point from Eritrea to Ethiopia. In order to achieve save transit point, ONLF militant crossed the border from Ethiopia into Somaliland and murdered innocent people sleeping inside their homes at Seemaal town of AWDAL region in cold blood.

This ONLF attempt was to add insult to old injuries between Somaliland tribes of AWDAL and Gabiley (Western Somaliland) which is, also, the smuggling path for ONLF. If the two tribes fight then ONLF could use the region for smuggling fighters, but that is not possible from the peaceful people of Somaliland.

Moreover, ONLF used their media like (Wardheer News) to shed crocodile tear over the death of the innocent people in Seemaal Town.

After ONLF killed the people, the elected President of Somaliland Mohamed Siilaanyo instructed the police to arrest the beasts. The Police, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Army are working on arresting everybody suspected of having links in the incident.

The justice will prevail and killers will be brought to justice regardless of the crocodile tear of ONLF. Somaliland authorities are coordinating with their Ethiopian counterparts on arresting the criminals.

Let us all wait and see the security report on the incident, which will illustrate many hidden dirty agendas of ONLF against the stability and development in Somaliland.

The Somaliland Cabinet, Parliament and their people of Somaliland criticized the killing and called for arrest . The Somaliland Justice System, which is known for its integrity, will ensure justices for all.
