Somaliland: Hargeisa University and the University of Ludvic Maximilian in Germany today signed a deal of collaboration between the two universities. The ceremony which was held in Hargeisa university premises was attended by senior officials from the two universities. Somaliland Minister for Health Dr. Husen Muhumed Mohamud (Husen Xoog) attended the ceremony in which the faculty of Medicine of Hargeisa University officially affiliates with Ludvic University in Germany.
Somaliland Health Minister spoke at the ceremony and told that he is personally pleased that the two universities sign a deal of cooperation and collaboration between them. The minister further added by saying the faculty of medicine of Harhgeisa university desperately in need of this cooperation and it will take advantage of it.

The president of Hargeisa University Mr. Muuse Abdi Omar also spoke at the ceremony and told that the affiliation between the two sides was made possible by a local organization by the name of Tawakal.Finally, the deputy minister of Education Mr. Ali Hamud Jibril spoke and told that he hails the affiliated universities. He added that the ministry of Education is committed to enhance such this endeavor.
Students of the faculty of Medicine of Hargeisa University and other honorable guests attended the ceremony in order to witness this important occasion where the top officials respresenting the two universities put their pens to papers and signed a mutual cooperation between the two universities, Doctors who teach the medicine students in Hargeisa University also attended the ceremony.
