Al-Islaax: Badie Meets with Comptroller General of Somalia’s Muslim Brotherhood

- Dr. Mohamed Badie, Chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, met Thursday (02/08/2012) at Muslim Brotherhood headquarters in Cairo, Dr. Ali Basha, Comptroller-General of the Muslim Brotherhood in Somalia (Al-islah). Ali Basha extended congratulations to the Chairman of Egypt’s Brotherhood upon the victory of Mohamed Morsi and his election as President of the Republic, and Egypt’s steps on the rough road from revolution to progress and stability.

For his part, Egypt’s Brotherhood Chairman hailed efforts of the Somali Brotherhood towards national accord, moving Somalia onto a path of unity, stability and reform. The meeting was attended by Gomaa Amin, Dr. Rashad Al-Bayoumi, and Dr. Mahmoud Ezzat – the Chairman’s deputies; and on the Somali side, Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Sharif, member of the Somali Brotherhood’s Shura Council and Dr. Ali Sheikh, Chairman of the group in Mogadishu and member of the Shura Council and former Comptroller-General of the Muslim Brotherhood of Somalia.---- Source: Ikhwanweb
