- Christopher Stanfield made it to Hargeisa this afternoon (Friday, 4/1/213). We met him by the roundabout at the end of the road from the Hospital and found him surrounded by a crowd of children and other people curious about this man with a turban and pulli...ng a cart. We walked back to the hospital where we had some pictures taken. Will share these with you when I get copies. This time I have been promised by the volunteers who took pictures and videos. We also had reporters and he is likely to be in the local papers tomorrow. He is a delightful man who has such a story to tell ! It would make a great story for a book or a film.
I feel so touched that someone would walk 4000 kilometers, go through so much hardship and personal danger to support our hospital. If this never raises a cent, I still feel that Christopher has given us the greatest gift ever...'Thank you Christopher.---- Edna Adan
