Job- with Progressio Somaliland
Based in Hargeisa, Somaliland
9 months placementPlease note that the selected applicant will be required to take up the placement by November 2012.
The Development Worker (DW) will be based in Progressio Somaliland’s office and work closely with the Country Representative, Project Officer, Programme Funding Officer and the Admin/Finance Manager, other DWs in Somaliland, relevant government ministries, local and international NGO partner organisations, and with Progressio’s Dublin- and London-based Policy and Communications teams. S/he will design and recommend a sustainable environment development strategy for Progressio in Somaliland, and develop a long term project plan and concept notes.
